Mothers Day Dining Ideas
Fun Restaurants:
Take mom to a fun restaurant that offer something different such as table clothes made of paper so you can play Pictionary or that has a dinner and a show such as a murder mystery where guests can participate.
Motherly Restaurants:
Reserve a table at a restaurant offers a lot of comfort food such as a Marie Callender's or something equivalent.
Posh Restaurants:
Order from a fine dining menu that has champagne and elegant dishes. Many of these higher end restaurants will also have a set menu for Mother's Day so inquire ahead of time and definitely reserve at least two weeks in advance.
Four Star Home Dining:
Hire a catering service that will have do the white cloth silverware set up right at your home complete with a personal butler. Surprise mom at the last moment. You can pretend the restaurant messed up your reservation and you have to "settle" for cooking something at home or you can just plain surprise her by sending to a day of shopping and when she opens the door everything will be ready.
Home Cooking:
Go to a gourmet restaurant and read up on some top chef recipes. Buy your groceries at least two days in advance and send mom shopping for the day while you prepare your elegant four course meal at home. You can even try a test run the weekend before which we highly recommend if you are not familiar with cooking.
Desserts Galore:
Take mom to a specialty dessert house for nothing by decadent desserts and champagne. If none exist in your city, go to a four star hotel and order their shouffle with champagne. Top it off with a cup of coffee and bring your Mother's Day gift to give to mom at the restaurant. We guarantee this will most satisfying.
